From Mt Egmont we travelled south to Wellington to get the ferry accross to the South Island. The night before the crossing, we found this amazing park up on the beach just outside Wellington in a place called Lyall Bay. Saw a really stunning sunset of which we both took loads of photos! 
Fortunately for me the ferry crossing was dead calm and I was able to enjoy the view without chundering all over fellow passengers. Saw this tall ship at anchor in Queen Charlotte Sound from the ferry on the way into Picton, the port on the South Island. Very nice!
