We've been really lucky with free park ups, this one in Wellington (18th Feb) was recommended by a couple we met in Taranaki. We only spent a night in Wellington, then got the ferry the next morning to the South Island.
I got my first digital camera in Auckland, and now have ten zillion photos of sunsets across NZ, the second image is near Takaka (20th Feb), where we met Emma and Paddy for a few days of bbqs. I'll leave it at that for now
