Headed south to Christchurch from Kaicoura and round onto the Banks penninsula where we found this top secluded bay with very quiet campsite. Went picking fresh mussels at low tide and had em for tea in a nice white wine sauce. Tasty!

Back in Christchurch now having a bit of work done on the van and then a couple of days surfing till we meet up with Jos' sister Beck and head up north for sea kayaking on the Abel Tasman coast.

Looks beautiful - funnily enough we were on a beach yesterday with lots of (empty) mussel shells - Bridlington, force 10 gale and blooming freezing - the dog enjoyed it though!
