When we were in Christchurch we pretty much avoided the city, found a good free park up buy the beach and carried on learning to surf (sorry, no photos of us in wetsuits). But I wanted to go on the Gondola, a touristy cable car up an old volcanic crater, with 'scenic walks' at the top, and the most surreal 'time tunnel' ghost train ride. Okay, it was a bit cheesy.... This is us on the cable car back down, with Tom fully touristed-out.
